I was a human punching bag for a spirit that had a kink for torture.

I was a target for Mariku before Yuugi changed his mind and I was too late to stop him. [The missing -kun was on purpose]

I offered my blood to Kaiba-san, but he refused on the grounds of hurting me when I wanted to help.

I can't even choose my own living quarters. Instead of a nice, quiet, comfortable home, I get sent to an overcrowded dorm that is more likely than not affecting my frail health.

Where were the choices in those?

The last person to 'take over' me, was Bakura. No soul room for me to hide in, so no one can take over. And Bakura was smart enough to put some magic in the tattoo both my halves gave to me. He wanted to make sure no one but him could possess me again.
